Juuust finished this video that we started in 2009! A lot of work went into this — thanks so much to Paul, Steve, Cassey, Annmarie, Megan, and Dave for making this happen!!!

Oh man that was so much fun.
Just shot the best video I’ve ever been a part of! Half-hollywood style, faking rain on the window with the moonlight streaming in.
At the very end of the shoot we went all the way through the song singing and everyone who helped out just got all silly. Dan hiding behind the couch and holding up a record that had a face on it over his own face, Yan hiding behind the curtain and then gettin rowdy, Tom making funny facessss at the camera.
Thanks to Paul, Dan, Yan, Tom, and John for making this night possiblee. !

Two music videos on their way!
We’re shooting tonight at my piano teacher’s studio for “Turn To Wise”, and we’ll be finishing that up next week after shooting at a clock shop on Monday and then a living room shot mid-week.
There’s also another video that we’ve been working on for almost a year for an original song that David Gorfien and I wrote. We shot at UB during the winter, in Canada at Sherkston and at friend’s houses for the rest — and we tore apart my friend’s piano to use for this video (in fact, its the same piano on the album cover) so we could bring the piano keys with us to the beach.!

My goodness.
New website design. New music video on the way for the first single off the album, “Eight Minutes Before Dawn Breaks” !
Also, the album has been sent to be mastered and we’re gearing up to share the music with everyone. It’s been a long time coming.
I believe we started this in May 2009. More than a year ago! It always takes longer than you think it’s supposed to.

Album update
Constantly amazed with this beautiful world. Here springtime comes, hoppin round the bend like Peter cottontail.
The album is coming. When will it be released?! That’s the big question, and although I don’t have the answer yet, spring 2010 is vague enough to work as a release date. All the recording is done, the mixing is 2/3 finished, and after that, mastering.

Here’s the MAIN THREE STEPS EXPLAINED:
1. Recording an album is like getting all the ingredients out to make a cake.
2. Mixing the album is mixing the cake batter together. Kind of like putting all the elements together just the right way so all the puzzle pieces fit.
3. Mastering the album is like putting it in the oven. Sometimes you might pay a mastering engineer a thousand bucks to use their oven and their expertise.
